on mar. 29, csic gm sun bo accompanied three gorges group chairman lu chun on his visit to dsic, where dsic leaders yu fengping, xiao shi, an yumin and ding yi attended the whole visit.
sun bo accompanied lu chun and his party to visit dsic key project construction site, listening to dsic gm yu fengping’s report on production and operation, development strategy, heavy industry development and latest progress of non-ship projects on key follow-up，viewing company video and exchanging their ideas.
sun bo gave lu chun and his party a warm welcome and thanked three gorges group for its trust and support to csic. he pointed out, despite depressed situation of shipbuilding industry, csic has achieved 23.7% growth in operation revenue and 2.2 times profit on a year-on-year basis. besides its own innovation enhancement and restructuring, it is absolutely inseparable from great support of all parties. nowadays, since the global shipbuilding and shipping market remains low, csic will continue to strengthen structural adjustment, promote coordinated development of 10 major civil-military integrated industries, among which, wind power industry is one of the important sectors. three gorges group has great advantages in capital operation driving development of industrial entities and brand influence of clean energy while csic having solid strength in equipment manufacturing and r&d and design. powerful alliance between the two parties will be bound to open up new prospect of cooperation and promote new development. he wishes the parties can seize opportunity to further communicate with each other closely, keep innovating cooperation patterns, and go deep into mutual cooperation in the fields of hydropower equipment manufacturing and offshore wind turbine installation and maintenance so as to achieve complementary of advantages and common development hand in hand.
lu chun expressed his thanks towards csic’s warm reception and his regards for shipbuilders bold in innovation and struggle. he said he has broadened his view, received good education, and deeply felt that diamond cuts diamond through this visit to dsic under csic. csic has made significant contribution to china navy equipment construction and shipbuilding industrial development, who has built powerful equipment for our great country, deserving its title of prc eldest son. three gorges group is the largest enterprise in hydropower exploration, construction, operation and management in the world and the largest clean energy group company in china with strategic target to build up the world first class clean energy group. csic has opened the cooperation gate with three gorges group by providing ship lift for the three-gorge dam. furthermore, as national large enterprises, both major groups are committed to the mission endued by the country, wishing the parties could enhance cooperation and alliance between two giants so as to contribute our common strength to national development.
