dsic has created another height in production: may 12 saw the 50# 300000dwt vlcc constructed for china merchants energy shipping co., ltd.(cmes) sign for delivery 15 days ahead of schedule after 8# 3900teu container vessel constructed for singapore-based pil was named and delivered on may 7, where csic gm paul sun bo and sinotrans & csc chairman and party secretary zhao huxiang attended the naming ceremony of 50# 300000dwt vlcc, accompanied by dsic leaders liu zheng, yu fengping, li cheng and chen yongyi.
during construction of 8# 3900teu container vessel, dsic, based on the past building characteristics of large container vessels, has launched the project planning and documentation training of special ship with a grasp of safety, quality, plan, technology, precision and commissioning. focus on study of production design drawings and analysis of construction difficulties, draw up relevant programs and measures, further improve the medium scheduling plan, key plan and biweekly plan so as to ensure the production plan in order. meanwhile, positively carry forward the compound employment modes to combine the hull iron outfitting welder and grinding worker, to combine the piping testing worker and equipment testing worker and to combine the carpenter and insulation worker, etc. so as to decrease the construction time, boost the job schedule effectively and fully facilitate the production continuity and plan controllability.
at the stage of dock erection, 50# 300000dwt vlcc has accomplished “lights lighting in accommodation aboard and generators starting in dock” with a grasp of ship accommodation construction integrity, cargo oil tank construction integrity and generator set integrity. in construction of ship accommodation, focus on raising the electric outfitting construction, organize the specific jobs beforehand such as cabling and insulation wrapping, etc., rationally adjust the labors and complete various area targets in construction of ship accommodation on schedule and storey, so as to save the valuable time for delivery ahead of schedule and “lights lighting in accommodation aboard”. during commissioning of generator set, step in and follow up the key projects of generator set commissioning in advance, so as to ensure “generator starting in dock” to accomplish. in construction of cargo oil tank, strictly control the construction quality of iron outfitting parts, prepare the construction and fabrication of iron outfitting parts in accordance with testing sequence and raise the efficiency of acceptance test. during sea trial, conduct the strong water pressure test on all cargo oil tanks and ballast tanks throughout the ship with a one-time inspection pass rate above 98%, where the shipowner has sung high praise of dsic’s welding quality.
