on july 13th, the conference on economic operation analysis of csic in the first half year of 2018 was held in beijing. hu wenming, the party secretary and chairman of csic, made an important speech, feng yongqiang, the deputy party secretary and director of csic read out the award decision for responsible person of the member unit in the first half year, he jiwu, the deputy general manager chaired the conference and informed the relevant situation. dsic’s leaders liu zheng, yang zhizhong, xiao shi, han hui, deng changlian, ding yi and the heads of relevant departments attended the conference through video at the session.
the main task of this conference is to further implement the spirits of the group company’s annual work conference and the party construction conference, to strengthen goal orientation, adhere to problem orientation, take effective measures, improve the quality and the efficiency, ensure to complete all the targeted goals of the year, and realize a good start to implement the strategic guideline of high-quality development of dsic in the new era.
hu wenming pointed out that in the first half of the year, the headquarter of the group and all member units earnestly implemented the spirits of the 2018 working conference and the first quarter economic operation analysis conference, paid close attention to implementation, made solid progress in various work, and maintained a stable and positive trend of economic operation. these achievements have further enhanced the strength and influence of the group company, further enhanced the confidence of the cadres and staff, accumulated the power of endeavor, and will strongly encourage and push us to complete the targeted tasks of the year. at the same time, however, we should be more soberly aware that there is still a gap between the group's innovative capability in defense science and technology and the ardent expectation of general secretary xi, and as well as the targeted task of building a world-class navy. there are still some problems and challenges for us to accomplish the targeted tasks of the whole year and to promote high-quality development, which require us to make greater efforts.
for the work in the second half of the year, hu wenming asked to arrange work according to the group's annual working conference and the party building working conference, concentrate the energy, carry out careful organization and operation, pursue the perfection, coordinate to do all the work well, to ensure the completion of the annual targeted tasks. there are seven things we need to do: first of all, complete all military tasks with high quality; secondly, promote steady development of the marine equipment industry; thirdly, strive for greater breakthroughs in the development of military-civilian integration industries; fourthly, intensify efforts to tackle the difficulties of key projects; fifthly, resolutely win the battle of "overcoming adversity" and "eliminating losses"; sixth, continue to deepen capital operations and market-based debt-to-equity swaps; seventh, resolutely carry out the party's organizational line in the new era, and strengthen party building and organizational personnel work by taking the opportunity of carrying out in-depth learning activities from comrade zhang jin.
