dsic won successfully the order of three 85k ton bulk carriers from a norwegian ship owner seatankers group together with csic trading on 8th sept. dsic has kept long-term friendly cooperation with seatankers group this order has witnessed the second cooperation between them after dsic built eight 82k ton bulk carriers for seatankers group in 2018. during the building of 82k ton bulk carriers, both parties have worked together and overcame the impact and influence of covid-19, and achieved the smooth delivery of these vessels. its success has strengthened their confidence in further cooperation against the challenge of difficulties. this order will further expand its fleet of bulk carriers and meet its strategies of fleet upgrade.
it will also further deepen the friendship between them and achieve win-win cooperation and joint development. dsic has delivered totally 43 kamsarmax bulk carriers until now, including 25 bulk carriers in the scale of 85k ton. the vessels delivered have very good performance, workmanship and operation, which have been recognized by ship owners, charterers and the trade. this order will further deepen the cooperation with dsic and seatankers group, further reinforce the market share of dsic in kamsarmax bulk carriers and continue to improve its market reputation. vessels under this order will built in dsic shanhaiguan shipbuilding industry co., ltd. the vessel has a total length of 227.2m, width of 36m, depth of 20.35m, design draft of 11.5m and operating range of 25000 knots, with the feature of shallow draft and large hold capacity and dead weight, and meets the latest rules. it has the advantage of adapting to ports, cost effective, energy-saving, environment-friendly and strong competitiveness in the market. |
