on march 26, 2020, both built by dsic shgsic of cssc, the w1000-1 offshore wind power installation platform and the 14th 82k dwt bulk carrier were launched and undocked on schedule at the same time, which completes the first major production node after the resumption of work this year.
the 14th 82k dwt bulk carrier is the forth one built by dsic shgsic for frontline. all the integration inspection and air tightness tests for 38 cabins and 23 ballast compartment have been completed. the installation rate of erection pipe of the whole ship is 95%. the external inspection for 31 of the 54 systems in the engine room have been completed and the cabin started coating.
after the resumption of work on february 10, dsic shgsic did well in epidemic prevention and control measures at all levels and, at the same time, actively mobilized manpower, promoted production, reasonably adjusted production plan, fully ensured that the ships under construction can achieve the completion target on schedule and strived to minimize the adverse impact of the epidemic. as early as the fourth day of the lunar new year, the production management department carried out a unified coordination arrangement for the production plan arrangement, further clarified the key projects, the key main line plan, and optimized the construction process arrangement in view of the possible problems such as the construction manpower could not return to the factory as planned and the materials could not arrive in time. for the risk that the equipment manufacturers in the epidemic area may fail to provide the commissioning technical service in time, the company prepared the response plan in advance, make full use of their own resources and technical personnel to overcome the difficulties and carry out the commissioning independently. at the same time, the company strengthened communication between all parties and implemented the arrival of equipment, materials and outsourcing manpower. at present, the resumption rate of all business sectors of shipbuilding and repair is 100%, which basically meets the production demand, and makes every effort to catch up with the delayed production progress affected by the epidemic in the early stage.
at present, the epidemic spreads all over the world seriously. dsic shdsic,on one hand, make all measures to prevent the spread of overseas epidemic, on the other hand, overcome the shortage of technical service providers and other problems to ensure production by all means. in 2020, dsic shgsic plans to deliver 9 ships, construct 10 ships and there are 11 ships under construction so far. in march alone, there are multiple nodes progressing at the same time, such as launching and trial sailing to advance. the production task is very heavy. the company organized the activities of "preventing epidemic, deliverying ships on shedule, strengthening management and promoting development", as well as the special labor competition of "risk aversion and ship delivery", and called on party members, cadres and employees to devote themselves to the production and operation, overcome difficulties and resolutely win the battle.
