following a successful delivery of cv9250-6 cgm cma thames on june 12, the 57# 300000dwt vlcc “yuanyuehu” constructed for cosco dalian has been named and delivered by dsic on july 1. up to now, dsic has achieved double over half smoothly with a total delivery of 9 vessels, which has laid a good foundation for completion of the annual production task with both production quality and effectiveness improved. csic gm paul sun bo, deputy gm chen minjun, cosco headquarter gm li yunpeng, deputy gm sun jiakang and dsic leaders liu zheng and chen yongyi have presented the naming and delivery ceremony.
in his speech, paul sun bo says, for quite a long time, the vessels constructed for cosco by the shipbuilding enterprises subordinate to csic are not only considerable in quantity and complete in variety, but also recognized by cosco for their quality. dsic signed two 319000dwt vlccs with cosco dalian last week, which has adopted the patented design of anti-sediment ballast tank so as to decrease the comprehensive the desilting rate efficiently. this marks that both parties have made a new breakthrough in 300000 dwt vlcc and further strengthened the competitive edge in such vlcc field. in the stage of the new economy normal, he wishes both parties could further deepen the strategic partnership, expand the collaborative space in grasp of strategic opportunity of one belt and one road so as to realize the overlapping advantages and make the due contribution for state strategy implementation and economic development hand in hand.

in the first half year, the product construction in dsic has attached more importance to the large container vessels and vlccs, with the bulk carriers and offshore products as subordination. in the parallel operation of all production lines, dsic has further fulfilled the responsibility, well planned, arranged the production schedule and resource demand as a whole, and adopted the collinear management and process coordination so as to go all out to do well in the project production organization and management and smooth delivery of key or difficult items one after another, among which, 8# 3900teu container vessel has set up a shortest record of 38 days in water for sea trial; the shell plating and piping fabricating technology of 59# 300000 dwt vlcc has achieved the advanced level and been delivered 15 days ahead of schedule; also, the one-time pass rate of in-water commissioning acceptance inspections for 57# 300000 dwt vlcc has acquired the praises from the ship owners.
